Unpublished images and videos allow the public an intimate and engaging experience. With the launch of the hashtag #innerviews, Fondazione Prada proposes a virtual visit to the Storytelling exhibition created by the curator Udo Kittelmann and exhibited in Milan since January. The Peking artist is suspended between a fairytale atmosphere and subtle irony, with an incessant dialogue between the Eastern and Western world in a narrative plot that combines literature, art history and popular culture, with exciting and surprising results. Inner Views replaces the physical visit of the “Storytelling” exhibition with a virtual learning and knowledge experience.

E-LEARNING
Building something at a time when the world seems to have stopped due to the health emergency by channeling the energies towards a goal put on stand-by for lack of time. This could be one of the plans to carry out during the quarantine. Travel and culture enthusiasts could devote themselves to the study or improvement of a foreign language, taking advantage of the schools and learning platforms that populate the network and which in this period offer a completely free service. How about?
HOPE
Due to the ongoing health emergency, we are always within our four walls, and the celebrations and atmosphere of Easter day were also experienced in a different spirit and in different ways. In this period there are always many musical initiatives of great artists who entertain us on social networks during our days, but in recent days there has been an incredible event that has involved the whole world, the Bocelli concert. In fact, on April 12 the great tenor Andrea Bocelli performed in an extraordinary concert from Milan broadcast in streaming, which echoed between the naves of the Cathedral with sacred music. The success of “Music for hope” was very great, with a voice symbol of Italian art in the world.
EASTER CAKE
Since the 800 period, eating habits have changed, resembling more and more to ours, both in the “what” and in the “how” we ate. On important occasions – such as Easter – the use of the “Russian service” became more widespread: the dishes were served directly at the table in large serving dishes, following an order similar to that of today. The conclusion was always with dessert, a name that derives from the French word “desservir”, that is, to be canceled, and therefore indicated the last dish of the dinner. An Easter cake is the Colomba born from the desire of a Milanese pastry chef to create a cake similar to panettone but destined for the Easter holidays, the Colomba soon spread to all Italian regions, even if with different characteristics. We are sure that despite the prescription period we are going through, we will all have a good and peaceful Easter!
FISH?
Why the choice of fish? An explanation takes us back in time to Cleopatra and the hoax she made against Roman lover Marco Antonio during a fishing competition. Antonio, in order not to run the risk of a humiliating defeat, had instructed a slave to secretly attack his prey on the hook, but the Queen of Egypt, discovered the deception, had a giant fake leather-covered fish attached to the hook of crocodile, and Marco Antonio was served!
CULTURE AT HOME
In this long period of domestic life we can still take advantage of the culture that never hurts. In fact, the Vatican Museums, the MoMa in New York, the Pinacoteca di Brera and many others allow visitors to continue to discover them in a vital way. Every day from 17:00 on the Instagram profile here is a special initiative of the Palazzo dell’Arte of the Triennale di Milano a new format that invites illustrious personalities from entertainment and culture to live in the museum spaces, telling a series of stories starting from from the inspiration of Boccaccio’s Decameron of 1348.

LUXURY THINKING
Always to get out, at least for a few hours, from this surreal climate that all the big cities are experiencing, think big. This week think about luxury and in Milan think about via Montenapoleone, the 5-star shopping street, which the Milanese affectionately call via Montenapo, where there are the most prestigious brands and historical places in Milan. Come for a ride and stroll along the street as well as admiring the sparkling windows of the “dreams” of the next purchase, you can read the plaques displayed between the different buildings that recall the well-known faces that have lived here in history.
