After the Guggenheim in Bilbao and the Hotel de Caumont in Aix-en-Provence, Palazzo Reale in Milan will host the last stage of the “Guggenheim exhibition. The Thannhauser collection, from Van Gogh to Picasso “, open until March 1, 2020, and an ideal follow-up to the” Impressionism and Avant-gardes “exhibition that brought a selection from the Philadelphia collection to Milan.
On display about fifty masterpieces of the great impressionist, post-impressionist and avant-garde masters of the early twentieth century, including Paul Cézanne, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and an important nucleus of works by Pablo Picasso, a friend of the Thannhauser family.
