The largest Santa Claus Village ever built in Italy arrives in Milan for the first time and, in the spaces of an exceptional location, symbol of the city, the Snai Hippodrome of San Siro, will transform “The Dream of Christmas” into reality!
More than just a village, it will be a unique theme park, created under the creative direction of Riccardo Ferrero, which will give adults and children an immersive experience of Christmas. The idea, in fact, is to bring the public into a parallel reality: in a total area of 30,000 square meters, organized in theme worlds, professional actors and dancers in the guise of elves and giant puppets will stage live shows.
The main route will wind between the large Toy Factory, the House of the Elves and the House of Santa Claus. It will end with a visit to the reindeer shelter where Santa Claus’s large sleigh is kept. The second route of the village is the Lettering World, divided into the writing room and the post office where the letters will be stamped and postmarked. There will also be the Borgo degli Elfi, a Nordic-style market populated by the helpers of Santa Claus, in which it will be possible to dedicate oneself to Christmas gifts. There will be a food area with wooden houses turned into food stands. A colorful train will take visitors to the various worlds to be explored.
And this year you can enjoy the Christmas holidays – until Monday, January 6th 2020 – a bit like if you were in Rovaniemi, in Lapland … the city of Santa Claus!
